Our Forest Family on the Battlefields trip travelled to Ypres in Belgium today. They visited the Essex Farm cemetery , Langemark and the Passchendaele museum. The Ardèche trip spent today in the town of Vallon Pont D’arc around the shops & seeing the sights, followed by a visit to the beach down by Le Pont D’arc. They went up to a viewpoint to look over the gorge and river they kayaked down. A group of students went over to Collyer's earlier today for a photography and textiles workshop where they produced brilliant tote bags. The Battlefields trip have arrived in France. They managed to get an earlier ferry so the students were treated to an hour at the beach. "I built the pirate ship for my History homework and designed it from the Lego Titanic model. It can be divided into 3 sections. It took me 2 hours to build the ship and 1 hour to do the rigging.
