Learning Resources Centre
Learning Resources & Communication: Mrs Spencer
Opening Hours: Monday - Friday - 8.30am - 4.00pm
The Forest School aims to provide a range of resources to assist with pupil learning. We provide activities and resources which will enhance pupil independent learning and to assist pupils with becoming effective users of information. We also hope to encourage pupils to develop a love of reading and finding themselves getting lost in a good book.
With the aid of our computer suite, teaching staff maximise the use of information and base some of their lessons in the comfortable surroundings of the Learning Resources Centre.
We have an extensive selection of both fiction and non-fiction books which are organised into different genres to enable pupils to find these resources easily and expand their reading horizons. Mrs Spencer is always on hand to offer advice on book selection and other resources.
We have a fantastic library system which everyone can access from school, at home and even on your mobile device.
The link to the library system is above and once you click on this it will take you to the home page. From here you can see what loans you have out and when they are due back.
You can also write reviews on your books and look up what other students and teachers have written about the books they have read.
