Essential Equipment

Year 7 Equipment

Students are required to have the following essential equipment for their lessons. There are specific items included in the list which are essential for Maths and Science. These requirements are vital in order for your child to achieve their full potential in both Mathematics and Science.

Equipment

• Black pens (we recommend to have up to 5 pens to cover all lessons)
• Pencils (we recommend to have at least 2 pencils)
• Ruler (either 15cm/6” or 30cm/12”)
• Pencil Sharpener
• Eraser
• Compass (with small pencil)
• Protractor (180 degrees or 360 degrees)
• Scientific Calculator (recommended model LOGIK LK83XP)
• Green pen
• Glue stick
• Colouring pencils/ Felt tip pens
• Highlighter
• White Board Pens (English)

A set containing the main items they will need for Maths and Science is available to purchase from the School Office, as well as a Scientific Calculator :

The Maths Pack and Geometry set contains - 1 Black Pen, 1 Pencils, 30cm/12” Ruler, Pencil Sharpener, Eraser, Compass and Protractor. Supplied in a regulatory see-through zipped Pencil case.

The LOGIK 83XP is a good quality scientific calculator which conforms to the standard required for GCSE Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, etc.

Both of these items are available now for you to purchase on iPayimpact. They can be found in the School Shop under the Equipment category.

Collection: Once purchased you will have the opportunity to collect these equipment items on:

• Induction Evening (1 July)
• Launchpad Summer Activity Days (23 & 24 July)  
• First day in September (2 September).
