Some Parent feedback from our recent Open Evening

Every pupil we met were enthusiastic and polite.
Very impressed, a credit to the school.

An excellent Open Evening, thank you to Luke
for a fantastic tour.

Very impressed, I am looking forward to my son starting at Forest.

Application Process

Parents have a right to express a preference for a school for their child's education. Forms for this are distributed to parents, via all primary schools within the area, usually in the October of the year in which a child is in Year 6.

Completed forms must be returned to the Local Education Authority, which then allocates places – PLEASE NOTE that the school cannot accept Preference Forms and is not involved in the decision-making process at all.

Places are allocated according to strict criteria, details of which are found in a Local Education Authority's publication. Copies of this publication are available free of charge from the Education Authority or any of the maintained schools.

Useful Contacts: Horsham (North) Pupil Admissions Office, County Hall North (Parkside), Chart Way, Horsham, West Sussex RH12 1XH.

The WSCC webpage on Applying for Secondary School Places contains a great deal of useful information in addition.
