Community Development Officer
My name is Laura Ward and I am the Community Development Officer at Forest. I am responsible for all aspects of our links with the wider community, including the development of new community based projects, organising pupils to help with community events and charity fundraising projects.
I am also responsible for managing our links with local businesses and business professionals who support a range of activities within the school, including enterprise days, curriculum subject areas and careers events such as our fantastic 'Careers Speed Networking' sessions.
As a school our facilities, including our purpose built Business & Enterprise Centre, offer a great community resource and are available to hire 7 days a week.
